OAKE, The Organization of American Kodaly Educators, is the national and parent organization. Annual conferences are presented by the national office. Also, all membership is handled through the national OAKE office.
NKE, Northwest Kodaly Educators, is the local subsidiary of OAKE. Our local officers and members present several workshops each year and sponsor teacher training seminars. We also dissiminate local information, such as job postings and special events. Every member of OAKE that resides in the Pacific Northwest is a de facto member of NKE and is eligible to receive member discounts.
